Comet is really starting to impress. Through 25x100mm binoculars, the total magnitude is 9.8 spread out over a 12 coma. Big binoculars are now the choice of instruments to measure due to the size and low surface brightness (DC about 2). At closest approach, the coma should balloon out to 1.5-2 degrees across!
