A technical shot to achieve, and only recently was I able to figure out how to put these pieces together. 12x HDR exposures of the moon, stacked in Photoshop, blended with a single star shot tracked. These exposures were blended manually with a bluehour foreground of the Mohonk Tower in New Paltz, NY.
My work has mainly focused on aligning terrestrial objects with astronomical phenomena and this shot is a culmination of years of trial and error.
