What an incredible sight! The fact that the Moon was a Waning Crescent allowed Jupiter to compete brightness wise adding to the view. I had to quickly change my viewing location since the ingress occurred with Luna only 18 degrees above the horizon. I used a Canon XS DSLR and an Orion Shorttube80 to record the scene
