Details:
Two supernovae in the same galaxy—an event that may occur only once every 100,000 years. SN2026yum was discovered on August 13, 2026, by ATLAS, and two months later, on October 17, 2026, SN2026afqd was discovered. We captured them from the Sormano Observatory on the night of October 29, 2026, using a 20-minute long-exposure photograph.
