Details:
Seeking out a new location for this year's Harvest Moon rising landscape, I settled on using the brand new LDS Mormon Temple in Cody Wyoming for a foreground. The Photographer's Ephemeris browser app was used to determine the shooting sightline
The view was shot at 525mm effective focal length using a Sigma 150-500 zoom on a Nikon D5300 dslr. Exposure was 1/100th at f/11 using ISO 1600 with white balance set to Cloudy ( minus blue) to compensate for cool tonality.
This image was post-processed in GraphicConverter 12.5.4 to resize to 2K-HD from original 6K JPEG , and Nik Dfine software to reduce noise.
