Details:
On October 6th, Jupiter was occulted by the Moon, but unfortunately, this occultation was only visible from North America, not from my region in Germany. So, I shortly booked a flight to the northeast of the United States in August. I was lucky with the weather, and on the morning of October 6th, I was able to observe both the entry and exit of Jupiter and its four large moons. The images were taken with a Maksutov telescope (a Russian-made telescope with a 1000mm focal length and an aperture of f/10). I used a Canon EOS 700D camera, exposure times are 1/40 to 5 sec.
