Details:
Aristarchus and nearby region at the terminator in dramatic view. Note the plateau and the sinuous channel of Vallis Schroteri and also the rimae Aristarchus (sinuos rilles) in this wide volcanic region. A lunar dome is clearly detectable at the south (bottom) originated from effusive lava. It is a lunar volcano.
